Keri has engaged in complex litigation, real estate and business transactions for the past twenty years in Hawaii representing business owners, associations, developers, and sellers and buyers of commercial and residential properties. With her litigation background, Keri has tried cases to verdict, including the trial and a recovery of $25.5 million for a large Oahu condominium association with over 500 single family and multi-family units, as well as achieved successful resolution of claims through alternative dispute resolution methods.
Having started her legal career doing only litigation, Keri offers a unique perspective in handling both business creation and buy/sell transactions involving entities, assets, and real property. Keri has successfully completed many multi-million dollar transactions involving boating businesses, restaurants, commercial properties, and high-end residences.
Keri’s experience extends to administrative law, representing business clients before the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Department of Liquor Control, County of Maui, and Public Utilities Commission.
Keri also acts as general counsel for many of MSM’s 200+ condominium and community association clients, assisting boards and property managers with compliance, contract review and preparation for board and annual meetings.
Keri splits her time between competitive outrigger canoe paddling and serving as the Secretary of the Hawaiian Canoe Racing Association and participating in triathlons. One of her favorite pursuits is being a volunteer Angel runner for the Ainsley’s Angels running group.
